For a back up knife, or for your daily camp tasks nothing beats a good folder. Not only can you use it for your outdoor tasks, you can also use it for your tasks at home as well. A good folder should never leave your
side. (Sorted by price high to low)

Stretch Carbon Fiber ZDP-189 - $ 237.97
ZDP-189 blade steel is the hottest, hardest and highest performing blade steel in the knife industry today. 3% of its component ingredient is pure carbon making the steel harder and in turn extending its edge retention. At press, Spyderco was one of a handful of cutlers around the world working with ZDP-189 blades, offering it on several models including their C90 Stretch folder.
The C90 Stretch started as a pet-project lockback knife design. Spyderco’s owner and chief designer made it for his personal use, incorporating features he wanted. He wanted high performance blade steel with edge retention super-powers for outdoor cutting: things like wood, rope and anything encountered in the wild. It had to work equally well indoors on cardboard, mail and fingernails. He sized it so it wouldn’t scare non–knife people and made it look slick on the off chance he’d someday have to wear a suit. The handle is peel-ply carbon fiber, with a four-way clip, left/right-hand and tip-up/tip-down. Blade is full flat ground, solid ZDP-189. The C90CFP exemplifies all that is Spyderco, function, high performance, advanced materials and workmanship in an out-of-the-ordinary package.

The renowned German Damascus forger, Manfred Sachse, has produced blades exclusively for BÖKER for two decades. His unique knowledge shows in every blade which is hot-welded and hand-forged into 300 layer Damascus steel. No two blades are exactly alike - each one has its own unique character.

Black Rhino - $ 172.97
Everybody’s familiar with those well-respected, big, slip-joint hunting knives. Usually, they have wide, clip point blades and curved handles and have been made in the U.S. by various makers ceaselessly for the past 70 years.
Cold Steel’s offering in this arena, our new Black Rhino, doesn’t re-interpret the established classic lines, but instead provides some clever twists in terms of materials, performance and especially in the locking mechanism.
The makeover began with the blade by making it wider. This allowed us to increase the deeply hollow ground blade bevel to over 1” in height so we can guarantee deep, effortless penetration through just about any medium that’s vulnerable to steel.
We gave the ”heave-ho” to the time-honored slip joint mechanism found in older classic knives and opted to give our Black Rhino a huge upgrade in the finger protection department and install our latest TRI-AD lock. You see, a traditional slip joint lock in this kind of folder is suitable for light work, but it never really locks the blade rigidly in place.
The traditional brass frame and nickel silver bolsters were jettisoned and were replaced with an extraordinarily tough 7075 aluminum frame and integral mirror polished bolsters. The bolsters are dovetailed and fitted with the attractively polished, black G-10 handle scales, secured by high tech fasteners. Finally, to make it easy to carry and access at all times, we have added a mirror polished pocket clip and double thumb stud on the blade. The Black Rhino is truly a modern classic.

Military Digital Camouflage Black Blade - $ 167.97
Digital camouflage is the outcome of applying engineering psychology with the study of visual biophysics and human visual performance. The pattern is made up of small micropatterns, optically reducing the eye’s ability to detect and discern what it covers. Various digital patterns are developed and used for the U.S. Military to make more effective concealment for the men and women who go in harms way to protect our freedom.
A cornerstone model in Spyderco's Save and Serve line up is the C36 Military Model meeting the requirements of a high-performance, light-weight folder designed for hard use. Since the steel is the spirit of the knife, CPM®-S30V seemed the logical choice for the blade given its reputation for long-term edge retention and rust resistance. The 'Millie' has a modified clip-point blade laser cut with a 14 mm Spyderco Round Hole for quick deployment and for use with gloves. To create an even more subdued blade we have blackened the blade with a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black coating. Texturing above the hole hold the thumb in contact with the blade's spine during cutting for confident control over the sharpened edge. The handle scales are Digital Canouflaged G-10 with the lock's liner nested (inlayed) directly into the scale, pumping up lock strength without the addition of bulky liners. Spacers between the scales create a gap running the handle's full length exposing the inside workings for inspection and cleaning. The handle flares slightly at the front end creating a finger choil and at the butt end, which keeps the knife from slipping forward or backward in the hand while sawing or making tough or aggressive cuts. A contoured black metal clip is set for right-hand tip-down carry.
Please note that the digital pattern will vary on each knife and that no two knives (or sides of each knife) will be the same.

Military Black Blade - $ 167.97
A cornerstone in Spyderco's Save and Serve line up, the Military Model came about after someone asked Spyderco's owner Sal Glesser, "If your son were going into the military what folding knife would you send him with?" For certain, it had to meet the requirements of a high-performance, light-weight folder designed for hard use.
To create an even more subdued blade we have blackened the blade with a BodyCote black matte coating. Since the steel is the spirit of the knife, CPM-S30V seemed the logical choice for the blade given its reputation for long-term edge retention and rust resistance. The 'Millie' has a modified clip-point blade coated in non-reflective black then laser cut with a 14 mm Spyderco Round Hole for quick deployment and for use with gloves. Texturing above the hole hold the thumb in contact with the blade's spine during cutting for confident control over the sharpened edge. The handle scales are G-10 with the lock's liner nested (inlayed) directly into the scale, pumping up lock strength without the addition of bulky liners.

Para-Military Digital Camouflage Black Blade - $ 167.97
Digital camouflage is the result of applying engineering psychology with the study of visual biophysics and human visual performance. Digital camouflage pattern is a mosaic of small connected micro-patterns, optically reducing the eye’s ability to detect and discern an object. The round hole is generously sized at 14mm for opening the knife blade with gloved (or large) hands. To create an even more subdued blade we have blackened the blade with a DLC (Diamond Like Carbon) black coating. Chinook 3 - $ 167.97
James A. Keating is a Master-At-Arms and acclaimed knife designer. He joined forces with Spyderco several years ago to develop a knife called the Chinook. The original design has since been refined, tweaked and upgraded several times and has a new name, the James Keating Chinook 3.
Like the original, the Chinook 3 is an ace in the field or as a martial arts knife where hard-use is a certainty. Lock strength requirements are higher for an outdoor or martial arts folder so the Chinook 3’s back-lock is one of the strongest found on any Spyderco folder. The G-10 handle blankets a pair of full-length steel liners nested inside which are skeletonized for strength without added weight. Jimping (texturing) on the blade’s spine generates tactile resistance keeping the knife slip-free and keeping the hand controlled and connected on the handle. Classified as a modified Bowie, the CPM-S30V blade has also been upgraded to fully flat-ground from the cutting edge to spine. A four-way clip carries tip-up or down and left or right-handed for several draw options.

Para-Military Black Blade - $ 167.97
When Spyderco introduced the Military Model years ago it gathered fans like the Pied Piper. Critics claimed it too big, too expensive and more knife than the average user needed. Likewise, fans heralded the knife's big performance attributes and snapped them up, firmly positioning the Military Model as one of Spyderco's top all-time sellers. Carrying a large folder for many is simply a non-issue. For others in our sensitive PC world, smaller equates to friendlier, less shocking, and in some place just plain legal. We arrive back at the question knifemakers ask everyday, "How do we satisfy both worlds and make a smaller knife that acts, cuts and performs like a large knife?"
Welcome the Para-Military, a two-thirds sized version of the Military Model. Its flat-ground S30V blade stretches a non-eyebrow raising 3-3/32" (81mm) long and has a carbon level of 1.45% with the addition of vanadium and nitrogen for over-the-top edge retention. Coated in black, the blade is subdued and non-reflective. The Spyderco Round Hole is generously sized at 14mm for opening the knife blade with gloved (or large) hands. Its black G-10 handle shuns chemicals and temperature fluctuations and expands at the butt-end keeping the hand from slipping off the handle while making hard pulling cuts. The package is topped off with a nested Compression Lock making the ultimate mid-sized survival knife designed to level trees, carve tent stakes and never generate a second glance.

Caly 3 Carbon Fiber - $ 139.97
Yes. Before the Caly3 (and abbreviation of the name) there was a Calypso2 and Calypso1. No they didn’t fade away or die. They were improved upon, becoming more functional and useful with each rendition. Like comparing the first Corvette to today’s Corvette, the latest Caly3 is an offshoot and tangible testament to the design’s durability and sale-ability in the market. People continue buying the folder because Spyderco held true its original premise: A great folding knife should function and feel like a natural extension of the hand.
The Caly3CFP, with its high-end laminated ZDP-189 blade steel with buffed carbon fiber handle is (yes) yet another variation of the knife that converted legions of knife buyers to the hard-use benefits of flat-ground leaf-shaped blades. ZDP-189 blade steel contains 3% carbon, making it harder, higher on the Rockwell scale and in turn extending the amount of time it stays sharp. The Caly3CFP comes with a PlainEdged that is ground flat for precise cutting. The handle’s shape settles the index finger on the underside and thumb naturally above on the jimped (slip resistant) spine so the knife feels like part of the hand with controlled grip and no forward or backward slide while cutting. Ambidextrous deep-pocket-carry tip-up wire clip. Mid-positioned backlock.

Rajah II - $ 107.97
The Kukri’s best attributes and enormous potential as a weapon and a tool have been well documented in our DVD’s. We’ve made different variations of the Kukri over the years, some with longer blades, and some with shorter, but never, until now, have we had a version you could carry in your pocket as a folder.
The Rajah folders, designed by Andrew Demko, are big enough to approximate the feel and heft a fixed blade Kukri. Their broad, downward curved blades exhibit the best of a Kukri’s characteristics. First, their unique shape presents their thin, hollow ground edges at just the right angle so they naturally bite deep instead of bouncing or skidding off. And secondly their points are thick, wide and sharp enough to pierce even the toughest targets.
The handle has some of the contours of fixed blade Kukri’s with the addition of strategically placed curves and finger grooves. These features will facilitate 3 grip styles. One - very close to the cutting edge where you can really choke up on the handle for fine or delicate work. Two – by the middle for ordinary chores. And three – near the end or butt where you will have the most leverage and weight forward balance for heavy cutting or chopping and where you will receive maximum reach advantage.
The only suitable lock that can sustain the incredible impact forces generated by chopping strokes with a Rajah folder is our new TRI-AD lock. Designed specifically to take pressure off the smaller, more fragile interlocking surfaces of a rocker lock and transfer them to a uniquely positioned stop pin that will absorb and distribute these forces through the handle frame.

Urban Slipit Foliage Green - $ 104.97
Laws and guidelines for carrying pocketknives are changing in countries all over our world. Several countries have enacted restrictions and parameters on folding knives, specifically on blades that lock open. Spyderco addressed this by developing a series of non-locking folders we call Slipits. Slipits are traditional Spyderco folding and clip knives (we’ve always called them CLIPITS) but have non-locking blades. Slipit blades are safely held open by a notched or slip-joint located at the knife’s pivot. Closing the blade, the notch produces resistance functionally similar to traditional slip-joint penknives. Heightening control and safety, a deep finger choil positions the index finger behind the blade directly under the thumb. This allows choking up nearer the cutting edge with comfort and dexterity. Positioning the index finger in the choil additionally keeps the blade from closing while cutting.
The Urban Slipits feature G-10 handles: C127OR Urban Wharncliffe Blade with safety orange G-10 handle and C127FG Urban Leaf-shaped Blade with Foliage Green G-10 handle. Both have screw together handle construction for adjusting and cleaning and feature a left/right-hand tip up silhouette wire pocket clip. Their blades are flat-ground VG-10 available PlainEdged with slip-resistant jimping at the blade spine and along the finger-choil.

UK Penknife Safety Orange - $ 104.97
The knife may be man’s oldest tool but today it is governed by different carry restrictions in nearly every country in the world. It seems: “if man makes it, he must legislate it”. This is particularly true regarding pocketknives in the United Kingdom where legal guidelines govern the size and function of all pocketknives carried in public. One of these parameters is that folding knives not have blades that lock open. Spyderco addressed this by developing a non-locking folder expressly for the UK called the UK Penknife.
The blade on the UK Penkife is held open by a notched-joint at the knife’s pivot. When closing the blade the notch produces roughly twenty-pounds of resistance, functionally similar to traditional slip-joint penknives. To achieve a heightened sense of control and comfort, Spyderco designers added a deep finger choil positioning the index finger on the bottom of the blade directly under the thumb. This lets you choke up nearer the cutting edge with comfort and dexterity. The handle is safety orange G-10 with a tension-wire clip that carries deeply in the pocket, tip-up and either left or right-handed. The CPMS30V laser cut blade is available PlainEdged and ground flat on both sides.

Endura 4 Wave - $ 79.97
If knives could be created in the same way we choose players for fantasy football league teams, every hardcore knife knut would recruit features and characteristics they like best from different knife companies and combine them into their favorite knife. Spyderco will undoubtedly fulfill many knife knuts knife fantasy picks with the introduction of the Waved Delica and Endura. Waved models combine all that’s functional and performance-based in a Spyderco folder with the Wave Blade-Opening feature made popular and patented by Ernest Emerson of Emerson Knives.
The Wave is a hook curving out the top of the knife’s blade. When removing the knife from a front pocket the Wave catches the pocket’s edge quickly opening the knife blade ready to use. The knife can also be taken out of the pocket without engaging the Wave Opening Feature by pulling it straight up and out with your fingers on top of the closed blade. Waved Delicas and Enduras have screw construction making cleaning and adjusting easier. Their gray fiberglass reinforced nylon handles are molded with Bi-Directional Texturing® for traction and improved ergonomics.
Inside the handle dual skeletonized stainless steel liners strengthen the knife without additional weight and create an anchor for external and internal components to attach through for more sturdiness and rigidity. Their VG-10 blades are flat saber-ground with a stronger tip and larger 13mm opening hole. Added to the blade’s spine is slip resistant jimping. Phosphor bronze washers smooth out the open/close action and the clip is upgraded to a four-way tip-up, tip-down, left- or right-handed clip. 8 13/16" overall. 3 13/16" blade. 5" closed.

Pacific Salt Black Blade - $ 77.97
Spyderco’s C91 Pacific Salt is designed to offer reliable high performance with a never-rust H-1 steel blade. Now it’s available with a black coated blade, lessening the steel’s reflective qualities and subduing the blade’s presence. Spyderco’s Salt Series shines in fresh and saltwater staying rust-free even if put away wet. Hollow-ground, the H-1 blade is PlainEdged and coated in long-lasting black carbonitride. It’s similar in shape and size to Spyderco’s bestselling Endura model but with more rounded tip.
All internal steel parts are treated as well making them impervious to rust and pitting. The blade’s hole is enlarged to 14mm for easier opening/closing with gloved, wet or cold hands. Textured in a Volcano Grip pattern, the black fiberglass handle has a grippy texture and is fitted with a black Titanium pocket clip that reverses position for both left and right-handers. The addition of a lanyard hole offers a backup method of attachment (thong or lanyard cord) for use around water where once dropped, a knife is often lost or elusively hard to retrieve.

Spin SS Etched - $ 74.97
The Spin may be the runt in Spyderco’s Little Big Knife line of folders but scores points by combining compact size and workhorse attitude. Eric Glesser of Spyderco’s engineering department created the Spin to be the smallest possible folder with the largest possible cutting performance and it had to be stylish. Its 1-13/16” (46mm) blade is high-carbon VG-10 stainless steel with a Wharncliffe profile. This shape offers a utilitarian long PlainEdge cutting surface and slightly rounded tip that works well when cutting with detail or even cleaning fingernails. The blade folds into a flat stainless steel acid etched handle that dresses it up while adding textured resistance for top-notch grip. On the back of the handle is an Integral Lock®. This LinerLock design modification was created by custom knifemaker Chris Reeve, using the handle scale as the lock’s liner. With the back portion of the handle doubling as both handle and lock, the need for internal liners is eliminated and the knife can be manufactured incredibly slim yet strong. The Spin comes with a three-screwed stainless clothing clip that positions the knife tip-down in a pocket and also offers a way to money-clip your cash or attach to a necktie.

Dragonfly SS Tattoo - $ 67.97
At Spyderco we design and manufacture knives to be functional, elemental cutting tools you will use and can rely on for years to come. Function and cutting performance are our primary focus but we do on occasion create something equally beautiful with artistic value. We’re glad to introduce you to our C28PT DragonFly Tattoo folder with multi-color dragonfly etching. We believe it offers the best of both worlds.
Beauty and function. These two words bring to mind different images to different people. Architects think buildings, engineers picture construction projects, knife people think sharp and shiny things, like the Spyderco C28PT Dragonfly Stainless Tattoo with dragonfly etching. Like all Spyderco DragonFlys its cutting ability far surpasses its diminutive package and innocuous name.
It starts with a functional VG-10 blade and an all stainless steel handle. Then it’s beautified with bright poly-chromatic dragonfly art etched into the handle. The VG-10 full flat-ground blade is 2-1/4” inches of cutting aptitude with a cusp on the blade’s spine to naturally position the thumb in control over the sharp edge. Blade and handle geometry create a variety of grip angles and leveraging points so when held and used the knife feels and reacts like a larger tool in the hand. Even the position of the Spyderco Round Hole, relative to the pivot, is precise for smooth opening, hitting all the correct pressure points in the hand ergonomically. It carries right-hand tip-up with a steel pocket clip that can also be used as a money clip.
Our knifemaking commitment is to manufacture performance and quality that is consistently dependable.

Spartan - $ 59.97
Designed by Andrew Demko, the Cold Steel Spartan™ is a folding Kopis scaled down to accommodate the demands of a tamer, more sophisticated world. The 4" blade evokes the classic Kopis of the ancients with its characteristic recurved edge, big belly and sharp, acute point. It’s hollow ground from Japanese AUS 8A stainless and has some similarities with a Kukri. Like the Kukri, the Spartan™ always presents its edge at an angle to the material being cut to produce a deep sheering effect. However, since its point is narrower and more acute than most Kukri blades, it stabs almost as well as it cuts. The Spartan™ also echoes the ancient Kopis in its handle. It’s designed to help the hand resist the pull of centrifugal force and to retard forward momentum, when stabbing, or backward movement, when hammering or smashing with its pommel. Injection molded out of Grivory with steel liners for strength, it’s heavily contoured for comfort and features irregular fluting and a heavily textured surface finish for an exceptionally effective grip.
The Spartan™ has dual pocket clips to assure ambidextrous carry and for quick draw opening, it features a thumb plate that can be used to open the knife like a conventional "one handed opener" or be snagged on the edge of a pocket during the draw stroke and opened automatically. Additionally, the Spartan™ incorporates our Tri-Ad™ locking mechanism, which has proven, under torture testing to be almost impervious to stress, strain and shock. It’s almost impossible to overcome and offers a huge margin of safety not found in our competitor’s folders.

The blade folds into a flat stainless steel handle that’s laser engraved with a spider web.

Tiny Tighe Breaker A/O Black - $ 54.97
With our patented OutBurst™ assisted opening mechanism, instantly spring the blade fully open after you have opened the blade approximately 30 degrees. To maximize safety, we built in our exclusive patented AutoLAWKS™ that automatically actuates when the folder is opened and locked, creating a virtual fixed blade instantly.
For the first time in a production knife, we were able to use cell-phone manufacturing technology to create nylon scales with an extremely durable textured metallic coating.
Materials and construction are also first cabin. Dual stainless steel thumb studs allow fast either-hand opening. And we use our rigid InterFrame build with two stainless steel liners, one locking, and a solid Zytel® back spacer. The fluted handle, while graceful, is primarily designed for sure grip, with deep dual finger choils and a pronounced pommel. It comes complete with a custom removable stainless steel clothing/gear clip.
So the Tiny Tighe Breaker not only defines the state-of-the-art in folding knives today, it also defines value.
